We are urgently seeking qualified contract trainers with qualifications and experience in the delivery of the following qualifications:Certificate IV in Outside School Hours Care (OSHC)About Your Role:This role entails visiting learners to deliver face-to-face training in their workplace. As our Trainer and Assessor, you will deliver engaging industry relevant training and assessments to our learners obtaining qualifications in Outside School Hours Care (OSHC). Effective communication skills will be essential as you build relationships with the learners and services that you support. We offer short courses in our training rooms and traineeships in the employer's workplace. Opportunities for classroom delivery may also become available.Key Responsibilities:Induct learners into the qualification, skill set or short course, which may include workplace traineeships.Offer training and assistance for the units the learners are undertaking.Provide tutorial support to learners.Observe and document practical skills demonstrated by learners.Conduct assessment sessions and mark assessment answers.Essential Requirements:Please note this is a contractor position.Public liability insurance.Professional liability insurance.An ABN number.Relevant qualifications, experience and industry currency in the area that is being trained and assessed.Vocational qualifications equivalent and/or above what is being deliveredTAE 40116 Certificate IV in Training and Education or TAE 40110 including TAELLN411 and TAEASS502 unitsDemonstrated experience as an Early Child Care Educator or Leader with vacation care and/or before and after school care experience is highly regarded.Demonstrated experience in vocational education and trainingKnowledge, understanding and commitment to the Standards for Registered Training Organisations (RTOs) 2015 and the Australian Qualifications Framework (AQF)Be able to assist with validation, mapping and developing some assessment materialsHold a current Working with Children Check (or able to get one)Own reliable transport and Drivers Licence 40000AUDSydney2000
