We support people to develop the skills and capabilities they need to gain independence and participate in society.About the roleReporting to the Regional Manager, our Senior Program Manager is a results oriented and solutions focused leader who will help transform business operations to deliver on our vision. This position will be based at Kingsgrove, however, you will be required to oversee the management of service delivery across multiple sites in Sydney. This position will also have you contribute to the planning, development, review and continuous improvement of Organisational systems, policy and practice. As key aspect of this position is to work in conjunction with your team to break down any negative community values that could infringe on a persons' quality of life. Key responsibilities:Ensure effectiveness and quality of service delivery, driving ongoing quality initiatives and improvements;Deliver strategy through building a capable, high performing workforce;Manage allocated resources and budget across services;Implement Strategic initiatives as part of DSA's strategic planning.About youYou are a collaborative, person centric and outcomes focused leader with management experience coaching and mentoring a team, particularly in a group home setting.You are hands on with your approach and support your team and participants. As a leader you are accountable, respect and value relationships, give and receive feedback but most importantly, you have a passion for the sector and relate to our mission and values.Specific employment requirementsHold a professional qualification in the Social Services or relevant domain e.g. social work, psychology, nursing, disability, mental health, etc.Experience in a management position in the community sector with sound understanding of issues affecting people with a disability, their families and communities. In particular, service provision and theoretical frameworks relating to people with complex needs around behaviour of concerns and service delivery to this cohort.Demonstrated ability to lead and manage people; develop and maintain motivated, professional and effective work team/s.Excellent written and verbal communication skills.Demonstrated experience in organisational, time management and project management skills.Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office.Excellent Customer Service Skills.Valid Driver’s License and willingness to travel.*Please note that successful candidates will need to be comfortable working with participants who have an offending background.Position Description 80000 AUD Kingsgrove 2208
