Due to an internal move, we are now looking for the next superstar to join the Safety and Wellbeing team in DSA and the wider Scope business.About your new role Reporting directly to the Safety and Wellbeing Manager this role will be pivotal to the ongoing success of a proactive approach to Safety and Wellbeing.You will provide WHS advise and direction to our leaders to ensure an A class ‘safety culture’ at DSA, with a focus on prevention of injuries and the proactive management of risks and hazards.You will ensure there is a consistent understanding of WHS responsibilities at all levels of the organisation whilst also monitoring and reporting on WHS activities and KPIS. The key to the success of this role is getting amongst the business and really having a presence.  You will also be required to:Consult with stakeholders across DSA in the safety and wellbeing strategy to meet DSA’s obligation to provide a safe and healthy workplace for all employees.Regularly monitor hazard reportsEnsure compliance and relevant legislative and regulatory requirements are met.Support the Injury & Workers Compensation business partners to ensure effective practices are in place to prevent /minimise injury to the workforce.What will you need to have:Strong experience in Work Health & Safety.WHS experience in the warehouse industry would be an advantage Tertiary qualifications and/or relevant experience in WHS.Knowledge of WHS management systems ISO45001, AS4801.(beneficial but not required)Experience in incident investigations, ICAM training desirableDemonstrated ability to work effectively in a team and independently.Highly developed communication (oral and written) and interpersonal skills including sound conflict resolution and negotiation skills.Possess the ability to plan and organise work to meet the changing needs and demands of the role.Knowledge of statutory requirements of various acts and regulations relevant to the position and understanding and experience in risk assessment of projects, activities, and tasks.NSW Driver’s LicenseWho We Are We have officially joined forces with Scope Australia!
