We take pride in enabling opportunities for choice, inclusion and achievement for people with a disability.About Your Role:We have an exciting role for an enthusiastic and driven IT Support Technician to join our IT Operations team. As our IT Support Technician you will provide high quality 1st and 2nd level IT support to our employees and provide hands on support to our employees in relation to hardware, software and and other devices.In this vital role it is important to maintain open communication on all IT matters with our employees and within our services, and ensuring that customer satisfaction is achieved at all times. This is a Fixed Term 6 month contract based at our Kingsgrove office. Key Responsibilities: Answer, evaluate and priorities incoming telephone calls, voicemail, email and in-person requests for assistance from users experiencing with their hardware, software, networking and other computer-related technologies; Record and log all customer calls and inquires in the automated helpdesk system and maintain history records and related problem documentation; Create and maintain standard operating desktop image;Provide after-hours telephone support when required on a weekly rotating roster every three to four weeks; About You:To be successful in this role, outstanding written and verbal communication skills is a must as you will be required to support our employees on all IT matters. In addition, you will have flexible availability to provide on call support when required. Importantly, you will need to be IT Savvy and enjoy working in a fast paced environment. You will be/have:Flexible availability to work on a weekly rotating roster - Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM to 6:00 PM. (Example: 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM, 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM and 10:00 AM to 6:00 PM);Flexibility to deal with shifting priorities, high pressure demands and tight timelines;Minimum 2 years' experience in a similar role, with IT qualifications; Experience with Microsoft Servers 2012R2 - 2016, Active Directory and Group Policy with Windows file and print server roles and permissions; Good knowledge of Windows 10 and including experience with Windows desktop builds;Good knowledge of Microsoft Office applications including Teams, OneDrive, SharePoint and Office365 Admin Portal is essential;Excellent problem solving, diagnosis, planning and time management skills;LAN/WAN and Wi-Fi support experience;Ability to work autonomously and work with others within a team; environment but also able to self-manage, motivate and be proactive with tasks;Ability to investigate issues and requirements, identify, and prioritise appropriate solutions;Ability to adaptand adjust to changing processes, constantly seeking process improvement;Ability to work flexible hours when required;Ability to maintain detailed and accurate records and manage support tickets in ManageEngine;Experience with AZURE hosting is desirable.Position Description 60000 AUD Kingsgrove 2208
