We take pride in enabling opportunities for choice, inclusion and achievement for people with a disability.About the Role:DSA is seeking a dedicated Employment Consultant to join our team for a full time opportunity at our Mascot location within our supported employment ADE. As our Employment Consultant, you are responsible for providing pre-vocational support and training to prepare our participants for employment. Exceptional interpersonal skills is vital in this role, as you are required to build rapport with our supported employees to ensure their employment goals are met in line with their NDIS plan.  Key Responsibilities: Assist employees with pre-vocational skills training;Match employees to appropriate jobs and tasks, according to their interests, abilities and the needs of the job/task;Provide vocational support and training; assist with inducting employees to the worksite;Develop and deliver training;Maximise employee's participations in the workplace; Conduct employee interviews and meetings. About You:We are looking for someone who has extensive knowledge of a range of disabilities and how they may impact on employment and the work environment. Therefore, it is essential that you are an excellent listener with strong attention to detail. Ideally, you have prior experience supporting people with disability, or have worked in a similar environment/role, and understand what it truly means to be person-centric!
