What’s On

Supporting people to live life the way they choose in their local communities is a key focus for DSA.

One of the ways we do this is through offering a range of fun activities or through hosting, co-hosting or simply attending community events.

On this page we’ll keep you posted on activities and programs you can get involved with or any upcoming community events we have planned.

Update re: COVID-19

A phased return to face-to-face support is well underway for services that were suspended or moved online back in March.  We are very pleased to be trialling the return to service at three Community Solutions sites (Taren Point, East Hills and Blacktown).

We are implementing additional COVID-19 precautions across all our services based on the latest advice provided by NSW Health to all disability service providers.

NSW Health has recommended staff involved in supporting our participants should wear a mask to minimise the potential spread of infection. All DSA support staff will wear a face mask while at work until at least the end of July.

Ongoing protocols such as site access measures (temperature checking, visitor registers and illness/travel history questioning) and additional hygiene and cleaning are continuing at each of the sites.

These simple but important measures can help protect our participants and employees as well as reduce the spread of COVID-19 in the community.
