About Your RoleThis role entails visiting learners to deliver face-to-face training within schools and  workplaces. You will deliver engaging industry relevant training and assessments to our learners. Effective communication skills will be essential as you build relationships with the learners and services that you support. Training is provided via school and workplace traineeships, zoom style online sessions, online learning and classroom based. We are seeking qualified contract trainers with qualifications and experience in the delivery of one or both of the following:Individual Support and Disability (contractor position)Early Childhood Education and Care (permanent fulltime position)Hospitality (contractor position)Key Responsibilities:Induct learners into the qualification, skill set or short course, which may include workplace traineeships.Offer training and assistance for the units the learners are undertaking.Provide tutorial support to learners.Observe and document practical skills demonstrated by learners.Conduct assessment sessions and mark assessment answers.Position Requirement:TAE 40116 Certificate IV in Training and Education or TAE 40110 including TAELLN411 and TAEASS502 units or higher.Relevant qualifications, experience and industry currency in the area that is being trained and assessed.An ABN and Public and private liability insurance for either of the contractor position Knowledge, understanding and commitment to the Standards for Registered Training Organisations (RTOs) 2015 and the Australian Qualifications Framework (AQF).Be able to assist with validation, mapping and developing some assessment materials.Hold a current Working with Children Check and NDIS Worker Check (or willingness to obtain).Own reliable transport and Drivers Licence.About METS:METS Training Services is a subsidiary of Disability Services Australia.
