About Your RoleAs our Trainer and Assessor in Individual Support in Disability, you will deliver engaging industry relevant training and assessments to our learners. METS offers a variety of blended learning options including Online courses, Virtual/instructor led training, Face to face classroom sessions, Job Ready Programs, LearnAbility@METS, Traineeships & SBATs. Our trainers are recruited for their industry knowledge, current competency and adult learning expertise. We are in an exciting growth phase with a new LMS underway, offering qualifications from Cert II to Diplomas, skill sets and short courses. Our website is currently undergoing significant upgrades to reflect a range of changes being implemented and this is a great time to join the team.Key Responsibilities:Induct learners into the qualification, skill set or short course, which may include workplace traineeships.Offer training and assistance for the units the learners are undertaking.Provide tutorial support to learners.Observe and document practical skills demonstrated by learners.Conduct assessment sessions and mark assessment answers.Assist with validation, mapping and developing some assessment materials.Position Requirement:TAE 40116 Certificate IV in Training and Education or TAE 40110 including TAELLN411 and TAEASS502 units or higher.Relevant qualifications, experience and industry currency in the area that is being trained and assessed.Knowledge, understanding and commitment to the Standards for Registered Training Organisations (RTOs) 2015 and the Australian Qualifications Framework (AQF).Own reliable transport and Drivers Licence.About METS:METS (RTO code 91018)  is a high performing provider under Smart and Skilled, delivering nationally-recognised qualifications within the Children’s Services, First Aid, Individual Support and Disability, Business, Retail, Community Services, Hospitality and Supply Chain Operations industries.
