As our Support Worker based in Toongabbie
Opening a new service means starting with a blank canvas. Supporting participants move into their new home and get settled. Working with colleagues to establish processes and systems.
One house will cater to participants with psychosocial disabilities, the other participants with high physical needs. You will be allocated to house that best suits your experience. You will provide quality support to ensure our participants achieve their goals, remain connected to their community, their culture and all the things they hold dear.
Our requirements:
- Availability to work at least 3 days a week on a 24/7 rotating roster: mornings (6am-2pm), afternoons (2pm-10pm), Active nights (10pm-6am) and weekend shifts
- Current NSW Driver’s License (P2 and above) and access to a car
- A good understanding of person-centred active support or willingness to embrace this model of support
- Be comfortable supporting adult clients with complex disabilities
- Thrive in a team-based environment where we work together to support the wellbeing of our participants
