School Liaison Officer

Disability Services Australia (DSA), is seeking a School Liaison Officer to mentor students to move into employment post school. This position is permanent part-time, 3 days per week, based in Blacktown. Travel to schools and DSA sites is required. Scope and DSA came together in late 2021 to form one of the largest not-for-profit disability service providers in Australia. We support people with physical, intellectual, and multiple disabilities to achieve their goals, providing services to thousands of people across New South Wales and Victoria. Our mission is to enable each person to live as an empowered and equal citizen.Your new role:You will build and maintain key business relationships with schools across DSA’s geographic footprint.Develop and deliver educational employment content to students from years 10 through to 12 building their capacity to move into employment post school.Provide educational information sessions to Parents and Carers around the support opportunities DSA provides.Maintain customer volume and recognise new employment and business opportunities that are of mutual benefit for DSA and our customers.Collect and maintain customer data for future product development and continuous improvement.Record, track and report on KPI achievement.What you need to succeed?As a School Liaison Officer, you will be able to demonstrate:An engaging, can-do attitude.Previous experience in developing and delivering educational content.Demonstrated experience and understanding of the Australian Education system.Experience and understanding of supporting young customers with disability.
