 About your new role

  • Consult with stakeholders across DSA in the safety and wellbeing strategy to meet DSA’s obligation to provide a safe and healthy workplace for all employees
  • Regularly monitor hazard reports
  • Ensure compliance and relevant legislative and regulatory requirements are met
  • Support the Injury & Workers Compensation Manager to ensure effective practices are in place to prevent /minimise injury to the workforce
  • Work closely with the Injury & Workers Compensation Manager to ensure effective processes are in place to prevent/minimise injury in the workplace

What will you need to have

  • Relevant tertiary qualifications in Work Health & Safety, preferably at degree level or above
  • Exceptional WHS and Business partnering Skills
  • Strategic capability to understand organisational challenges & development effective WHS programs & processes to ensure a safe working environment.
  • Well-developed negotiation and influencing skills supported by robust commercial acumen skills
  • Detailed knowledge of WHS legislation/Regulations and evidence-based practices
  • Second to none communication skills both oral and written
  • NSW Driver’s license
