This is a rewarding role for those who are inspired by challenges and seek to work in an encouraging team environment.This position is based in Morisset and/or Bonnells Bay and we are offering permanent part time (up to 36 hours per week) and casual hours. Key Responsibilities:Responsible for the provision of primary health care with a person centred approach in line with the participants NDIS plan.Ensuring best practice standard of care that supports the National Standards for Disability ServiceAdminister medication including Intra Muscular Injections as required.Liaise with a wide range of internal & external stakeholders to continue to support risk identification & management.Liaise with various health and social service providers to ensure participants receive timely home and community based care.Providing support, direction & education to new or less experienced staff including Mentors.Work in conjunction with participant’s behaviour support plans.Complete administration and documentation requirements with attention to detail, in a professional and timely manner.About You:With your passion for helping people and ability to put people at ease with your warmth and care, you also bring:Qualifications in Nursing and a current AHPRA Registration as a Registered Nurse.A minimum of 1 years’ experience working within disability, aged care, youth or similar sector.Driver’s licence (essential).Demonstrated knowledge and/or experience supporting people with psycho-social disability and challenging behaviour is highly regarded.Demonstrated ability to work within a team.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.Demonstrated effective time management skills and ability to prioritise competing workloads within a complex environment.Have the flexibility to work on a 24/7 rotating roster, including weekend and public holidays.Additional Benefits:Generous remuneration, tax benefits including salary packaging.Access to Employee Assistant Program.Opportunities for growth and development.Positive and supportive work culture.  30 AUD Morisset 2264
