As a division of Disability Services Australia, we have a 60-year history in the sector and recently joined Scope (Aust) to become the 2nd largest disability provider in Australia.If you are a motivated and self-directed individual and want to work in a supportive allied health team of psychologists, speech pathologists, occupational therapists and registered nurses – then we would like to hear from you!What will you be doing? Undertake evidence-based assessments and interventions for individuals with psycho-social, developmental and other disabilitiesWell-developed interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills with the ability to communicate with internal and external stakeholdersWilling to be trained to deliver positive based behaviour support planning, interventions and trainingManaging a caseload of clients autonomously and demonstrate high level time management skillsCommitment to participation in professional development, quality improvement activities and workplace education.To be successful in this role you will have:Eligibility for registration as a Provisional Psychologist (AHPRA)Genuine interest in working with individuals with a disability or developmental delay, and their families and carersCurrent Australian Driver’s Licence and a willingness to travel within the Greater Sydney AreaAbility to work effectively and independently as part of a multi-disciplinary teamDemonstrated high-level written and verbal communication skillsExcellent time management skillsCompliance Checks: NDIS Worker Check, WWCC, COVID vaccine or medical exemptionThis role is advertised until 7th January 2022. We can be flexible with start dates in 2022 so you get a break after your studies.
