We support people to develop the skills and capabilities they need to gain independence and participate in society.About the Role:As our Program Manager, you are a leader and a champion of possibility with a passion to drive improved outcomes for our participants. Our Program Manager works within a person-centred support framework and recognises opportunities for improvement, challenge the status quo and make changes to the process for a smoother service delivery. When managing the day to day of your site, you will ensure all participants individual care needs are met and compliance are met in line with all NDIA plans and NDIS Quality and Safeguarding Commission practice standards.This role will be exciting to those who are looking for their next challenge, and are wanting to utilise their leadership skills to the full extent.Key Responsibilities:Leading and developing a team to ensure that service delivery is participant focusedEnsure the team members actions are aligned with an individual’s Participant Behaviour Support Plan and any individual medical, health and wellbeing needs are metProvide support and meet the individual care needs through the daily provision of positive role modelling, support and encouragement for participants of DSAEstablishing and maintaining key stakeholder relationships, enhancing the participant’s experience of DSA’s servicesEnsure all team members are sufficiently inducted and trained in all mandatory modulesUndertaking out of hours on-call roster duties to provide support to team membersResponsibility for site budget and profit and lossProvide recommendations for staff, participant and commercial improvementsEnsuring the services are managed in alignment to DSA’ Mission, Strategy, and participant needsPlease refer to our position description on our DSA website for more information:https://dsa.org.au/join-us/current-vacancies/About You:You are a collaborative, person centric and outcomes focused leader with management experience coaching and mentoring a team, particularly in a group home setting.You are hands on with your approach and support your team and participants. As a leader you are accountable, respect and value relationships, give and receive feedback but most importantly, you have a passion for the sector and relate to our mission and values.Specific employment requirementsExperience in providing services for people with disabilities, particularly those with high or complex needsKnowledge and understanding of how to support team members to implement contemporary and person centre approaches to uphold the rights and support needs of people with disabilityFinancial acumen and the ability to manage within a prescribed budgetPrior experience coaching and leading a team is highly regardedExcellent verbal and written communication skillsYou will be asked to obtain WWCC, Police Check, first aid certificate and have a current driver’s licence.  Position Description 70000 AUD Saint Marys 2760
