We take pride in enabling opportunities for choice, inclusion and achievement for people with a disability.About the Role:DSA is seeking a dedicated Funding Coordinator to join our team to cover a 12 month maternity leave contract. Our Funding Coordinator will join our team to maintain our NDIS database and assisting our supported employees to meet their NDIS plans and goals. Our Funding Coordinator will be based at our Mascot office, however there is flexible working from home arrangements. Key Responsibilities: Maintain NDIS database and liaise with Finance team;Maintain internal funding tracking databases; Monitoring plan expiring dates and ensuring new plans are booked; Investigating claim rejections and resolving; Preparing Service Agreements and Plans; Ensure weekly Visicase charges are processed; Liaise with government and non-government agencies (e.g. NDIA, Local Area Coordinators, Advocacy Services, and other service providers such as heath professionals); Liaising with LACs and Support Coordinators about participant support requirements and funding; Providing the Manager with regular funding reports; Draft NDIS Plan review estimates. About You:We're looking for someone who has extensive knowledge of the NDIS and NSW Disability Service Standards to be able to place this knowledge in providing support to employees in line with their NDIS plan. In addition you will have:Certificate IV in Disability or relevant qualifications;Exceptional written and verbal communication skills;High level of administrative skills and time management; Intermediate to Advanced Microsoft Office Suite Skills; Experience in assessing, training and supporting people with a disability.
