About Your Role:As our Assistant Manager, you will lead our NDIS Employment Solution Services, and manage the day to day operations for our Mascot site. You will coach and mentor your team, while advocating a culture of continuous improvement and collaboration amongst your leaders. This position will engage your strategic side as you develop and maintain effective partnerships with job seekers, employers and the broader community.Please note: This is a Maternity Leave Contract for 6 months based in Blacktown.Responsibilities:Working knowledge and understanding of the NDIS and/or DES the scheme's ongoing requirementDemonstrated ability to motivate, direct and support teams including remote workersProven experience in delivering on set targets and KPIs, driven to achieve and exceed expectationsAn ability to interpret data, identify actions and implement improvement strategiesA customer-focused approach, placing people with a disability at the center of planning and service deliverySupporting experienced staff to develop strategies for marketing job-seekers into sustainable employment and effective post-placement supportAbout You:Having previously worked in employment and/or community services, you have a strong knowledge of Employment Services and guidelines, and a clear understanding of barriers facing people entering the workforce (particularly youth). As an experienced Assistant Manager, you are able to adapt to a fast-paced KPI driven environment. You are able to demonstrate considerable business acumen due to your strategic mindset and competitive nature. Most importantly, communication is your strength and you are able to utilise it effectively to coach and mentor your team.You will have:Experience supporting people with a disability in an employment setting.An understanding of NDIS and Person Centred Support.Knowledge of the ADE Sector and Employment Support Requirements.Relevant Tertiary qualification in Human Services (Welfare/HR/Disability) is highly regarded.Excellent communication skills and customer services skills.A current NSW Drivers Licence (Minimum Green P Plate).About DSA:Disability Services Australia was established 1957 and is one of NWS’s largest Disability Service providers.
