Rebuilding together for the future: A courageous strategy for the next five years
This past year, our focus was firmly on developing DSA’s future strategy. We took the time speaking with our participants, their families, our people, funders and regulators and analysing the disability sector. We examined sector data and our current-state performance, data and culture frankly. We wanted to ensure we understand our role in society and our participant’s lives, to identify and leverage our strengths and where there is opportunity for DSA to strengthen and differentiate our offering for participants.
Throughout twelve months of planning, we wanted to ensure our future both honours the legacy of our 60+ year history, while seeking to thrive as a contemporary, best practice, participant-focused organisation into the future.
Our 2020-2025 Strategy is the culmination of this extensive research, analysis and planning.
Our new strategy focuses our efforts for the coming five years and enables us to be courageous in owning our strengths and our shortfalls and building a stronger DSA. It clearly defines our direction and captures the lead role we all play in providing high quality services that enable people with a disability to live as independently as possible.
