Adult (26-65)

Life Choices

It is important that during this life stage planning takes place for the future.

Focusing on developing natural supports and community connections is exceptionally important during this life stage as you may need to rely on them for friendship, support and assistance to ensure you don’t become isolated when you move into the next life stage as a mature adult.

DSA has:

* Experience in supporting people to self-direct their packages

* Trained staff

* Modern, bright and engaging facilities

  • * Modern and up to date workplaces
  • We will work with you to explore any ideas your may have - nothing is impossible

Technology in place such as video conferencing means we can provide support to people who are geographically isolated, time poor or live in remote areas

The attached document, Planning for the future booklet.pdf, from FaHCSIA, produced in 2007, is a great guide for parents supporting a family member and may be a useful link.
